It’s a warm spring evening at the Adriatico, and the streets are buzzing. Outside the Curva Nord, the fans are gathered with flags, beers and big smiles. I’m here with my family and we are a bit late. Kickoff is only a few minutes away. Well inside the ground I understand. A friendly conversation in half italian/english with a gentleman, the persuading words is to await climbing the stairs to the terrace. The absence of the Ultras is due to a political statement towards the local goverment. In respect, we find our places on the edge of the Curva, where we consume the battle on the field and the setting sun.
